Seahouses to Embleton along the Coastal Path

Waiting for the bus to take us into Seahouses for our second big walk of the week. Aileen and Gaye were actually heading into Bamburgh to visit some shops. Tom left his walking stick in the bus shelter and when somebody on the bus told him this he denied it was his but on arrival back at the holiday house he realised it was his.

Lime Kilns at the harbour at Beadnell
On such a beautiful day there was hardly anybody on the beach
The Embleton Burn running into Embleton Bay. There were a load of nesting Terns on the spit of sand between the burn and the sea.
The girls crossing the burn
John bringing up the rear and struggling a wee bit in the heat
Its amazing the healing powers of an Ice Lolly
The party of walkers on the beach at Seahouses
Crossing a burn. The boys made it without taking their boots off.
But Sandria decided to have a paddle
