Hannah just loves to take a bucket and spade to the beach so when we came over today to babysit the first thing she wanted to do was go to Whitley Bay and build a sandcastle. We had great fun and Granny and Hannah even had a wee dangle on a park seat.

A Wee Bobby Dazzler
Unfortunately Scotland had an off day and the Welsh proved much too strong for us but it was an enjoyable day for everybody. Hannah proved to be a real star and captivated everybody with her charm. She posed for photographs before we all headed off to Murrayfield with a couple of flags made by her and Mummy.

Scotland V Wales International Weekend
This is the bi-annual visit from Doreen and Norman who live in Tondu, Wales for the rugby international on Sunday and this year they have brought Jon their future son in law with them. Fiona & Hannah came over from Newcastle to see them and Hannah proved to be a big hit with the Welsh.
The photograph is of Doreen & Norman having breakfast with Hannah on Saturday morning.

New Year's Day Walk on the New Road
Tom, Niall, and Gavin took the opportunity to walk the 2 mile length of the New Road which should have been open by Christmas, but we are certain must be 4-6 months behind schedule due to the bad weather this summer. If it is open by Easter it will be a miracle but is more likely to be open for Common Riding.
