Mario with Han & Jo at the McDiarmid Memorial on the morning before they left to go home to the Netherlands. We were at the monument by about 8.00am and the view accross the valleys were superb on a glorious summer morning.

After an hour in the swimming pool there is nothing better than a delicious ice cream although grandad did get a telling off for buying this too close to meal time.

Langholm Walking Festival

The 7th Annual Langholm Walking Festival took place on 6-8th June 2008 and it was held in perfect weather all weekend. Fiona, Mario & Hannah came over and with them were Mario's parents Han & Jo from the Netherlands
